I do see a margiela/ dior style alot to, I know they also worked with the designer Ann Sofie Back, who I love.

I like the slim cut's of Nudie, the washes seem OK, but not super great

They sell Salt here at Anthropologie...the rise is higher than most jeans. Didn't like the fit though.

I tried on Earnest Sewn at Neiman Marcus. I think it was the Hefner style; very stretchy (which I don't like), and the inseam is super-long. The salesgirl said there was a non-stretch style, but they didn't have my size. Earnest is done by the guy who started PD&C (my faves), so I'm really interested in trying the non-stretch. Someone said AB Fits (in SF) sells them too.

they all don't seem that cool... I mean they look kinda ordinary... something you can even find at the marketplace... can't see where the "appeal" is.
maybe they just cost only a few bucks?

I think it is a Swedish brand and pronouced Awk-nay. My Swedish friend was wearing their t-shirts last summer and it cracked me up. They told me it was a series of inititals that just happened to be the same as the English word for zits :innocent: I still think its funny . . .

Yeah, Salt is clean and nice... And good prices too... Had a look at their pants this week and must say I like it...

Acne is nice... Nudie are great too, really great price on both of them... Of course the price is good here in Europe, and more expencive in the States...

Everybody in Scandinavia is wearing slimfits from Acne & Nudie...

I saw the new Tsubi collection for Spring05 this week, and Tsubi is sooo cool.... They have a different look then all the other denim labels... Their tees and tops are also very good...
