For resort — a season that Henry Holland said has a natural affinity with his label’s colorful, youthful aesthetic — the designer looked to “Peruvian skater girls.” That is, he took elements of Peru’s rich textiles and worked them on laid-back, street-inspired looks. One sleeveless dress with a full skirt was woven in neon pink, green, blue and black stripes — Holland’s souped-up take on Andean fabrics. And another fabric done in a maze-like neon, pink, green and blue pattern on a mid-length skirt and blouse pairing took its cues from the hallucinogenic effects of Peru’s ayahuasca tea. Also a standout: the inventive floral printed leather looks, such as a bomber jacket done in gold and yellow flowers and heat-treated to give the print a 3-D effect.

But Holland provided a calmer counterpoint to that riot of pattern and color with a series of breezy looks. He patched a gray sweatshirt with pockets of broderie anglaise and worked a navy and white dobby cotton into a sweet, short-sleeve A-line minidress.

The first and last few looks are nice the rest looks messy.
