Houston shopping

Yeah, edgy and just like Dorien say, skinny jeans, rock t-shirts since I LOVE MUSIC. and just any type of shoes.

I mostly get my t-shirts from shows.. most of the shirts are from American Apperal so they fit amazing.

hey do you happen to know, where to buy a MAN's vest that is not too dressy. i swear, i can't seem to find one in town or online for men. (i refuse to wear women's clothing) i want a nice black one, or gray with a black back. i want to wear it on top of a black white/back stripy muscle shirt i made, and some black tsubi jeans. :mowhawk:

^ I have also been looking for a vest but only thing i have found was at express but it sucked! Horrible fitting and it was like 80 dollars for it. I also have tried going to those men suit places but all of them look horrible so I also have just given up.
The only ones I really have liked have been the Dior ones but their way to much for my budget right now and have no idea were I can even order them.

i think neiman marcus is carrying the karl lagerfeld line. i'm almost positive the line had vests for men (probaly not crazy expensive, but definitely not cheap), but i'm not sure if neimans houston bought them. i'm sure they could call around for you though...neimans was selling the lagerfeld line exclusively.

other shops besides mix are:
-abejas boutique (standard stuff: citizens, sevens, juicy, james perse)
-pixie & ivy (EXCELLENT stock including rachel roy, y-3, and see by chloe)

also, the barneys co-op just opened in galleria one if that's your scene. i wasn't impressed.

^ Were are these stores at? I'm going to the galleria center tommorow and I have NO IDEA were these stores are at.

neimans is in galleria one (it's the flagship), which is the building with the food court and ice skating rink. it's at the end and surrounded by tiffany's and chanel. barney's co-op is also in galleria one and it took over j.crew's old space. it's on the second level. you can't miss it because their sign is massive and it's sort of a good sized store.

another good store for men's stuff is french connection. they have skinny jeans and nice seperates and sometimes they have pretty good sales.

^ went shopping today and I loved the Barneys store! great selection but I was just looking and I didn't end up with anything.
I went to zara and i just bought some wing tip shoes and i'm regreting them now so next week when I have chance i will end up returning them.

You did not like the Barneys co-op! I thought they had some really refreshing styles. I might end up buying some of their shirts.

True, I think they should open an H&M. It seems not to many stores are down in the south.

yes, abejas and pixie & ivy are only for women. sorry, guys!

the-smiths- i'm sure they don't look like clown shoes! they probaly look really stylish! but if you don't love them, DON'T keep them. i hate when i end up do that because then i end up with too much junk i don't want/need.
