How to Prime Makeup for the Heat

Help!

The other day it was really hot and I went for a walk to the subway and then went to the bathroom and I looked in the mirror and my tinted moisturiser and powder had all melted! It had even dripped onto my lips and had dried there! I was so freaked out!! Then when I went to put powder on to try and dry it out it went all clumpy and looked really nasty! Does anyone have any tips/products that I could use to stop this from happening? I don't want to look like a melting icecream all summer! Please help!

The best thing to do is use a primer before you put on make-up.
Laura Mercer has an excellent one as does Nars.
Do you have oily skin?
You might want to try an oil-free moisturiser as well.

Keeping makeup on in a hot, humid climate is not easy.
Revlon Colorstay, Ultima Wonderwear or any of the "stay-on" makeups are the most reliable for not turning into a mess when you wear them.

However, if you are used to a tinted moisturizer, I imagine you will not like the heavy, thick feel of either of these- stay-ons are not for a natural look.

Perhaps switching to a pressed powder foundation (like Diorskin or MAC StudioFix), applied with a brush instead of the sponge, will be more to your liking.
