So this modeling agent has asked me to take some polaroids, so I grabbed my camera and told my sister to take some profile shots - I emailed them and got back that they where not in the correct format! grrrr! So how do I take them right? Thanks!

Haha sorry I should be more specific. What kind of shots do I need to take? Do I have to wear certain type of clothes? What is typical for a modeling agency? Thank you!! :)

usually, the simpler...the better!

Wear a black spaghetti strap and jeans for some.
AND...do a few with a two-piece swimsuit.
Wear HARDLY or NO makeup..and have your hair pulled back.
Do a couple smiling, and the rest serious.
Make sure you get each profile, a front, and a back shot (swimsuit AND clothed)

...well, that's all I can think of...feel free to add on to this list

try not to use flash
it's hard to catch ur facial features with that
sun light's the best i think

Take the pictureso outside in natural light

frontal facial shot
profile shot
maybe a 3/4 profile shot
full body from front, clothes on/swimsuit
full body from side
sometimes a smiling polaroid too..

You can get away with a flash Polaroid. Just spread the light out by taping a piece of white silk or something similar over your flash to diffuse the light. I guess cotton would work. Outdoors with the sun at your side and the flash straight on should be good light. Get your film at Costco, it's cheaper and you'll be wasting a few shots getting it right.
