^i think he does... or at least he liked ai, she was in many of his shows, including haute couture...

Does he not like their dissimilar bone structure?

Aaah the two faced butt, he was singing paragraph after paragraph of praises for Asian women in Vogue China! At the same time as a new Christian Dior store opening in Shanghai? What a coincidence!

Double-eyelid surgery? What's that? 2 eyelids to completely keep out the dust? I can just see an ad for this: say no to blood shot eyes, have two eyelids!

double eyelid surgery is quite popular in asia - you have double eyelids if you have that pronounced crease in your eyelids. Most caucasians have it, but many asians don't. Because double eyelids are often considered more "beautiful", surgery to cut the crease has become popular.

and congratulate her on doing Christian Dior !!!
because John Galliano doesn't like Asian model, Hye's happier than any achievement
and so do i
I'm really glad about her doing Dior  but I have to disagree about Galliano not liking Asian models. As toohipforbrooklyn and yourbestfriend pointed out he's used Ai Tominaga a great deal and Juliana Imai as well - I hardly think he'd make distinctions on which models not to use based on race

Hm...I know this has been said already but I can't imagine Galliano not liking Asian models, since Ai has been casted in many of his shows including Dior, HC, and Galliano (or at least I think she's been cast in Galliano). Can you translate what was said in the interview?

And back to the topic of Hye herself, I like her most of the time. She looks great with her hair down and natural looking (although I loved her at the Philosophy show with the cute short do)...but some other hairstyles look a bit awkward on her.

yourbestfriend, you are right that many asians do have natural double-eyelid, but it's my opinion that koreans have the least people with it. if you weren't one of the lucky ones to be born with it, you would have probably thought of getting surgery at least once in your life. i know i do every once in a while. I am a korean by the way.

Yeah thats right.. Ai even did the Dior Couture shows because I remember her in full 17th (?) century garb... tiara and everything at the Dior FW couture show...

And even if he has never used Asian models.. it wouldn't be that unlikely since Asian models are supposedly "in"...
