I had a 4th Gen 20GB ipod but the screen cracked because some idiot stepped on it. So I'm on the market for a new mp3. I think I'm going to get the new 20GB because of storage and stuff. It would be great for loading photos if i'm on vacation or something. (does anyone have any other recommendations?) I would soo get the nano if it could hold more stuff as I already have over 10 GB of music.. booo...

I just saw these at the store and the size is very impressive. I think the ebst thing about them though is the color screen. Apart from that im happy with my original ipod.

Hello! just wanted to share w/ everyone. i pass by mac store today and decided to check it out. it's so cooL! i really like it. i want to buy one just to have it. it's very cute. the nano is definately going on my christmas list.

^ i prefer the white over the black though. the white jsut look more appealing & yes the color screen..that is one of the best part.

Haha, I have a mini too. It's funny that the minis are now like oaf-size just like the 20gb. with the nano ipod on the scene, the minis are so cheesy!
how many gb does the nano ipod have, though? Because I want a lot more gb. I want to download so many audiobooks, but i am almost out of space on my mini. If the nano has like 40 or more gb I am getting that one. if it only has 20, should I get the nano or the regular 20gb?

No, no..!! I meant the 20gb regular ipod, not the nano! the 2 and 4 are minis. the 20gb is the big white one. then there's the nano. I don't know what you're referring too. I know my ipods!

^^ Maybe you don't know your iPods that well... The regular iPod comes in 20/60 GB, iPod U2 in 20 GB, iPod mini in 4/6 GB (discontinued), iPod nano in 2/4 GB, iPod shuffle in 512 MB/1 GB.

i got a black one for my 18th on sunday its highly sexual but i'm so afraid i'm gonna break it, it's so thin and fragile. it does have a few scratches on already though, i keep mine in a sock to try and protect it haha. i named him mercury after freddie (i'm cool) and the inscription on the back is "It's kind of fun to do the impossible 24/09/05" - its a quote from walt disney cause i love disney & it's fitting cause my parents took me to disneyland as a supercool surprise for my birthday! xxxxxxx

after two weeks- my nano is looking very worn. also the battery life is only several hours- instead of the 12 quoted- maybe i got one of the faulty ones?

I think its best to get one after the first batch if you like has been introduced. Theres always something faulty they discover after releasing a new product.

I dont think I want one..I think they are too small for me too..

i read somewhere that apple was going to replace defective nano's.. though i think it was referring to easily cracked screens..

i think i may stick w/ my trusty 20g ipod for now..
