the ipod is becoming a bit too much of a fashion statement now, about a month ago it was shuffle shuffle shuffle, a month before that mini mini mini, and month before that ipod ipod ipod, i just cant keep up

despite everything i just said i want one i want one!!

(advertising - works wonders) if i was going to get one, i would get....white i think, but i love the black. im going to leave this thread because i think if i stay i will end up buying it and neglecting my green mini......

I have the Ipod Mini. That's small enough for me. Any smaller i'd lose it.

So I don't think I'll be getting that one.

I paid $200 for my Mini I can't beleive this one is only $200 starting out.

It sure looks sexy, but it'll be better to wait till the 2nd or 3rd gen release as the technical specs will definitely be better by then.

It sure has a way of making my 3rd gen iPod feel like a dinosaur....

It's a great design, and really gorgeous.. and it can store photos! I actually wasn't tempted at first because I thought it could only fit 500 songs - that was before I found out about the 4 GB one (I have a 4 GB mini). But I already have my mini.. ::sigh:: Maybe after they do some upgrades some years later, after my mini breaks or something, I'll get one..

I saw it today. I can confidently say Im pleased with my Mini. I already loose my bulkified by it's case Mini Ipod already. This thing would disappear before I get it home.

Isn't it funny how minis seem so big now? Oh vey. Maybe the way to have a current ipod is to not have one at all, and just dream about the one you want. The ipod moguls must be laughing at all the money their making generation apon generation. A bit nuts but thanks I'm going to see if my bestbuy has them!

I got the 4Gb in white last week and am quite happy with it, when I saw saw the pictures right before it came out I knew I had to have it. It really is impossibly small. The small storage space isn't really an issue for me since I don't desire to carry around EVERY cd I own, it's just for whatever ever i happen to want to be listening to that day. The battery life so far is great to, which I assume is due to its NAND flash memory design as opposed to a hard disk storage.

So far I'm quite glad I got it, the colorscreen isn't really important to me (monochrome would save more battery) and the screen is quite small, you can't really tell much about the album art unless you already have a good idea of the art already
