You and I seem to be the only ones bothered to discuss this magazine.
This is a stellar issue. Thank goodness they’re back to form after the dismal last issue. But then again, Edward Norton seemed to have set the tone for that issue’s blandness.
Every single fashion story and the star features are solid. The “New Italian Talents” story hits all the right spot of interesting non-models shot stylishly in all the right spots. If advertorials possess the brand of creativity and sharp styling this story has in spades, then I would never complain about them; And Mahmood is pure sex— just unfortunate he’s shot rather conservatively with the worst shot for the cover.
I could do without the watches feature, which drags down the content to airline magazine filler. Still the strongest men's rag out there right now. I'll suffer and easily forgive one issue of Edward Norton blandness if the other issues are as solid as this one. Baby steps...
