Ilvie, as a topmodel you get to travel a lot. Do you actually have time to come to Hollabrunn (her hometown) often?
Now and then I'm at home, or in Vienna at my best friends house. But then I'm away again anyway.
What do your friends think about that?
I only have my best friend and previously my boyfriend. That's it, I don't need nothing more as I've learned that most of my friends were false ones.
How did you recognise this?
Back in school they always made fun of my name etc.
What was the worst thing that happened to you?
I was bullied really bad in school. Once it even escalated and got violent. But I don't want to talk about that anymore.
Now you're a topmodel and stand above these things, right?
Well, many people talk bad stuff about me. But then I always think: am I really that important so you put me in the center of your life?!
How were you discovered by the way?
In Vienna, in the subway. When my booker, Kosmas Pavlos, came up to me I thought: What does this freak want from me? Please go away!
But you still called him.
I was young and needed the money (laughs). No, I just couldn't believe it in the first place.
Aylin, the winner of Austria's Next Topmodel is also represented by Wienermodels (her agency).
I don't know her, as I was abroad anyway the time the contest was held.
Did you ever consider yourself, to join such a competition?
Never. It has nothing to do with reality. In such challenges the modelling biz is portrayed as pure fun & party.
But there are partys?
Sure, but you aren't forced to go there. Usually I just want to take a shower and go to bed after a job.
How about food and eating habits? Discipline seems like a rather important part of your job.
I like my little tummy, and don't care about that. On one hand, I should work out more, but on the other I just think: why? If someone says "Eat less", I just say "I eat my chocolate. If you don't want me this way, don't book me."
Have you actually lost jobs because of this?
Of course, that's the business. One time you lose, the other time you win.
You arrive on the set, just wearing a bikini and everyone is staring at you. Isn't this a little uncomfortable for you?
When I was younger it was. But now I know that they're simply looking at me because of the clothes/ the fashion behind it.
Is there anything you wouldn't do?
Nude shots.
And if Vogue asks for it?
Then I'd do it. But that's something different as Vogue has another target group.
Have you been interested in fashion before the whole modelling thing?
Nah, but I'm still not really into it.
What would be your career-goal?
A Chanel campaign.
