It's called "Morphescape", it was inspired by the rooftops of Istanbul

Oh, I'm sorry softgrey, I just read the rest of the thread and noticed this wasn't supposed to be about home/interior design, so most of the things I've posted are out of place, I'll try to find more non-home items to post from now on.

But, the thread's title is "Industrial Design" - "Interior Design" involves in COMBINING products, "Industrial Design" involves CREATING those products to be used in interior design. That's why I've posted so many home items. Anyway, seemingly there was a big fight over that just now so I don't want to spark another fire..:ninja::lol:

Every vase eventually breaks. The Do Break cracks but does not shatter when it hits the floor. Not only can the vase still be used but it also gains in beauty as the cracks multiply to form a unique pattern

Oh, That's so cool! I love the idea! Thx, Strawbutterb! I'll definately have to look into that designer and his pieces!

Saw this one and had to put it up. Not only is it unique and it holds wine, it's a recycled Buick 350 block. I've been wanting to go to a junkyard lately to cut out the entire rear end of a 1959 El Camino lately. F*ck all the fake fiberglass seats they make to look like Corvettes, I'm making a sectional couch out of raw steel and leather out of the entire bed of the truck. I figure I can cut it in half and get two couches, maybe shorten one up for a love seat. The tailgate will fold down for a table.

That car is industrial design at its finest, boy!!!

Here, continuing the Alessi theme. A present from my wife (salt and pepper shakers). They have magnetic feet so you can stand them or hang them on the little pole, it's adorable:
