I think this is her first major fashion cover, right? I hope she sells lots of this issue and we will see her on more magazine covers.

They are really dumbing down this magazine for the past few months. What changed? Are they having financial problems, too? Awful cover for January.

I'll be quite honest, I wasn't expecting this. Her smile and skin looks radiant, but the dress looks awful, layout is overmuch and the colour scheme doesn't help her skintone.

I hope Insyle won't continue with these headshot-style covers for 2016. I liked the fact that I can actually see the clothes on their past covers.

She looks genuinely happy and it made me smile. I love it! Love that finally a women of color, besides Beyoncè or Halle, is on a major cover.

She looks genuinely happy and it made me smile. I love it! Love that finally a women of color, besides Beyoncè or Halle, is on a major cover.

Viola is actually the 4th woman of colour to cover Instyle in a span of 12 months. I actually found Mindy's cover more impressive, it was nice to see women of a different shape on such a major cover.

I'll probably never get Selena Gomez' appeal, but her relationship with Louis Vuitton (very mind boggling) has made it easier for me to appreciate the styling here.

This layout InStyle uses HAS TO GO! Why fix something that's not even broken? Their layout before was different amongst everyone else and yet they decided to BLEND IN. Why? And this Viola cover is without exception to the tragedy this magazine has become. This identity crisis they're having seriously needs to be settled ASAP. I like Viola, but I'm sorry, this cover looks dated. Everything about it takes me back to Glamour circa 2008.

I've been buying InStyle for years now and I'm seriously turned off by their new design (as if the content even helps). I thought the new layout was just an experiment but as it went along month after month, I decided to just quit. And judging from this, I made the right choice.

They must be, because when I picked this issue up it was alarmingly thin, under 100 pages.. I know January is a filler month, but I can't recall EVER seeing an issue of Instyle that thin.

Wow what a GLAMOUR cover!

I think Jennifer is truly beautiful but that image doesn't do much for me at all. It also does look very Glamour! Abbey is also a very beautiful woman, but her hair and angle of the shot make her head look an odd shape to me!

Jennifer's cover sure looks like a fall issue cover. That sweater and the way she has her arms aren't working for me.

Love Abbey Clancy's pose on that cover, and all that blue works for me. She looks very sophisticated, yet I find the bit of thigh rather sexy.

Jennifer's British Marie Claire cover looked way better than this. Too dark and moody for February. There's also way too many different fonts on the cover - let's leave that for Vogue Nederland, please. Lastly, I find it interesting how InStyle is screaming 'Love your body' when they decided to crop Jennifer's career defining hips in favour of nicely toned arms and belly.

She looks more like an insecure victim in a horror movie than the powerhouse that she is. I suppose it makes a change that she's dressed down, but when it comes to Jennifer, glamour and glitz is what I expect.
