I can’t stop thinking how this issue would look like under Fabian and Karl.

Even if I didn't develop a natural instinct to dislike everything by Interview, I'd loathe this. From scrambled words around the logo to picture to her facial expression and to the color of that shirt. Just everything.

"just about every story in this special new issue was ripped off from our archives." And yet they can't seem to improve on any single element of those archives. I mean...



Everything about this new Interview feels so contrived. Obviously they couldn't continue with Fabien's chilly, meticulous vision of perfection, so they've tried to go back to the magazine's fun, pop routes but it all feels like a deflated balloon just lying there, sad and empty long after the party is over.

Wow, couldn't they afford sparklers? The picture looks so sad, I can't believe they had a whole team included in this tragic photoshoot that looks like it was shot against Christina's badly lit bedroom wall with a phone camera.

I don't know her, this is terrible. I hope they have multiple covers cos the pictures of Debbie Harry for this issue are beautiful.

That's exactly the face of Andy as he sees the mess his magazine has become.

Are they for real?? They tried recreating iconic Interview photographs just to water them down? And why would Kate agree to this concept? And why would she agree to be part of this new, money laundering Interview? Oh, choices.

The photo looks like a homage to Andy's polaroid shots, but sadly just doesn't work here.
