man this thread moves fast...I spend a week away and it took me all night to catch up, and to be completely honest I'm not even all caught up yet....I'm seriously tempted to get something Galet in GGH this time but only if the boys have really improved their GGH, I know that somebody mentioned getting an email from the boys saying that they did indeed improve their GGH....can anybody confirm this? Has the lastest GGH been improved? thanks in advance for your help ladies....I'm more and more drawn to Galet in GGH now....I've emailed the boys to ask and now I'm just waiting for an answer, but who better to ask than the knowledgable ladies here.

so I guess that puts that to rest....but what I really, really want to know is from you gals who have rec'd something in GGH in the last couple of weeks (I don't know when it was improved but I'm guessing it was very recently), can anybody see a clear difference or improvement? thanks again for your input...and if this has been covered and buried, I apologize....I believe I still need to catch up on about 40 pages here but I was getting so excited seeing all the great buys that I just had to cheat...skipped ahead a few

Sooooo, I'm waiting on Jacky to get the Alexander Wang Coco duffle with strap. I can only think of 3 things I want from his site, but I'd hate to pay the $30 shipping fee when I can only order 2 more things and get free shipping.

A few of my sellers have this bag in different qualities from what I can tell....I believe that the lining should be a beige/light pinkish lambskin leather....I've seen some that are great, but I've also been disappointed a few times when I requested better pics of the lining and saw that it was regular fabric lining....quite deceiving, so I would make sure that the lining is correct before proceeding with other details.....just a little heads-up, as I almost made a huge mistake getting this bag with the incorrect lining. Then I ended up getting side-tracked with all the other gorgies....I"m such a simpleton that it ends up happening all the time, I get so dazed by the bling dammit
Is it just me or does this happen to anybody else....I mean when you're totally in lust with a bag and on a mission to find it but end up forgetting all about that one when you get a whiff of the others.....^^ Thanks for the tip on the lining, Cornpops!
With regards to your question about the GGH, I believe someone posted a picture of the difference with the updated GGH several pages back. I think it was Babybluestar or BabyYorkie--- I could be mistaken about the poster though. The post, however, definitely exists.
As many posters have said, even the old GGH bags are pretty darn good-- so I guess the update puts it over the top.

May I ask, do any of you know when T&D will start taking orders for Bleu Roi? Should I contact them now to get on a list? The original Marine GGH was one of the first Balenciaga bags I ever fell in love with, and I think I finally need to add a deep blue GGH City or PT to my collection.

lovemode: I have a Jacky Alexa and an Authentic Alexa in Oak. The leather is most certainly not the same but the Jacky Alexa is a rep and there is no way any replica maker can use the same materials and give you a low price for a bag. I don't think that the bag will slouch from conditioning it no matter how you try. It is only going to slouch when you wear it/carry it alot as the bag has to be broken in for it to soften and slouch. I don't have any three dot pattern on my Jacky Alexa but I find the leather to be grainy. The only way for you to get the bag to slouch is to wear it all the time.

It seemed that Jacky's regular oak and black Alexa is made out of pigskin, not buffalo leather like the real deal. It is thinner, has smaller grain, and it also has the distinct three dots pattern CMIIW. It won't slouch no matter how hard i conditioned them
Coco, is the bag in the 1st and 4th photo the exact same/size bag? The 2 belt buckles on the front look quite different....did Mulberry change their hardware or is it just my eyes deceiving me again? The buckles in the 4th pic look a bit thicker and shinier....where the 1st pic the buckles look a little skinnier and more matte/less shine.....however, they're all gorgeous!! The style is really growing on me....I never thought I'd grow in love with the Alexa but almost daily my fondness for this beauty grows

It's been a looooong time since I've ordered a bag directly from them (I've adopted a few pre-owned strays though), so I couldn't remember the protocol. 
Whew....finally all caught up. thanks for info. on the GGH....I'm off to change my order from the GSH, I'm super-excited now. I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight....dreaming of my Galet with GGH, now I just have to decide between the city or part-time. I'm def. a city girl....always my first choice, and when in doubt I always reach for a city-something. I still haven't taken the plunge into a work yet, but I've been tempted for quite some time now...I just can't see myself using it enough though. Any news on when the boys will be shipping Galet's out to all the lucky ladies who pre-paid already?
^ just heard back from them...they said "we're looking at a 2 week turn around"....I'm really hoping that means that I'll have my galet in a few weeks; is it a consensus then that the boys are getting the bags shipped out much faster now; when they say 2 weeks, does that really mean 2 weeks....or should I expect it to be more like 4 weeks? I hope not....I could really get used to their great new quick shipping policy; I just can't regress back to the days where days turned into weeks and weeks into months

Cornpops: The first photo is my authentic Oversized Alexa. The straps on my bag are thick and the leather on my bag does have a sheen to it. The 2nd photo is an authentic Alexa and the photo is from the purse forum - hence the difference in leathers. The 3rd and 4th photo are authentic alexia in the smaller size. The buckles on my bag in the first photo are not thin at all, they are thick. The Alexa is my favorite bag.

I still haven't gotten around ordering my PS1 yet (needed to find out about how Western Union works first ) which I'm glad about because I think I might order the khaki one instead of a black one. I saw the original in smoke recently and I looooved it, but am not sure if Jacky's khaki is identical to the original's smoke color? The color doesn't look the same in pictures, but then again the smoke one didn't look the same in real as in the pictures either, so I'm a bit confused. Can anyone help?
