Has anyone heard from T&D about bleu roi? I asked them about it and all they could tell me is they are waiting for the sample to arrive in a few weeks... Sample of bags or the leather? I don't want to miss it though.

you've got to be kidding me. i'm sorry, i just don't get it. it's like comparing the differences between navel and valencia oranges: they're the same damn thing!
if details this miniscule and painfully insignificant are enough to stop someone from buying reps, reps are c l e a r l y not for them!

i've gotta tell you gals, really...if ANYONE is bothered by this, i don't care who he or she is--man, woman, child, president of the united states--if they walk up to you and whisper or in any way, shape, or form try to let you know that they know your bag is 'fake' because your bales don't dip in at an imperceptible fraction of an angle...they're certifiably INSANE. it's ridiculous! WHO cares?!?!?!?!! it's on the side of your bag, dangling, in constant motion! who's eyes are going to be darting back and forth looking for a 'dip' whilst you're walking by???! they'd not only LOOK crazy, they'd BE crazy! if you see someone doing this, please, do them a favor and tell them to get a life.

and please. for the love of beautiful italian lambskin bags. let this one go. just let it go! if poor T&D are happy to put a little you dip-i dip-we-dip in their bales, great. fantastic. we happy-as-a-clam customers will be relieved to finally see an end to the complaining. but if they don't...

...life will go on, i promise!

i found few RGH bal reps on taobao!!!!! that means the rgh zipper/hw is available on the market, so hopefully t&d could source them soon.

amethyst, i understand by what you mean with "exaggerating" the issue about the T&D bales but honestly it bothers me.
i'm an authentic owner and "small" detail like this will bother me, i don't care about the inside tag to prevent the bag sold as authentic. but if on their page they stated this as i quote "is accurate to the original styling and details,featuring buckle and zip details and a removable cosmetic mirror" and the fact that it is NOT, it bothers me.
i still recommend nbf to my friends when they asked me though and so far they love it, although not all product are consistent. certain colour have great leather certain are off. but it's been a positive experience

Hey seahorseinstripe- I think it all boils down to what you can or can't accept or tolerate when carrying a replica bag (whether big or small differences) If you like the T&D city's, maybe try carrying them with out a strap like SMkelly does or maybe even buy the work style from T&D (eliminate the shoulder strap all together) and continue to buy auth Bals with shoulder straps?
I totally get where you're coming from And if it bothers you now, In my experience you will never be happy with it, it might be a great deal compared to the price of an authentic, But if you don't use it because of the minor differences...it's a waste of money...
If this post needs to go to the "authentic and replica thread" please feel free to move it.
Most of us here know when we see an auth Balenciaga on the street and workplace, I have to assume that others might be checking mine out too

I received my GALET GGH yesterday! Super happy and love that I went with GGH and not GSH! This is a blackberry picture so it's not that great, but I'll take some hi-res images when I get home.

Now, admitting that this is my first T&D purchase, can all of you veterans please school me on what to do in order to get it looking at it's most authentic state? I've overheard conditioning the leather, placing it on a door handle, etc. Let me know where to start please!

I just recieved my Jacky Mulberry Daria Fringed Satchel in Gingerbread. She is beautiful. In fact I truly love her. The leather is so soft and smooth. The smell is lovely as well. I will post pictures when I get home this afternoon.

amethyst_sparkle thanks for letting us know about the Chanel. I e-mailed Catty about the bag and it is quite small 25.5 x 16 x 7 cm. She also sent pictures but I think amethyst photography skills makes the bag soo much more desirable. I did a quick search and it is a Chanel 1112. Can anyone confirm this? I've been trying to look for modeling pictures but can't seem to find any.
