Hey ladies! Long time, no posting.
piperbelle, I'm sorry about your bag. Isn't the PF one a smaller size, I don't know much about LV so pardon my ignorance, but it looks much smaller than the one you have. Like an MM or PM, whatever. I hope you don't intend to tell PayPal Catty's merchandise is fake, because PP will surely shut down her account. This even happened to Fang a few months ago or so she told me.
I have to agree with
Amethtyst on the whole bale issue

. I don't even own moto bags, but
that is what
I would consider a non-issue. I mean, it's not even in plain sight. Tomatoe, tomato. I've got too many Chanel rep pet peeves to name. So, I do understand being bothered by the issue, but why not just remove the strap as
Baga suggested? Unless, of course, there are more "dead giveaways"

?
Condensed History
"2.55" is generally used to describe
all Chanel flap bags. The "2.55" was the date (Feb. 1955) that Mademoiselle created the Chanel flap bag with the mademoiselle lock. The "CC" turn lock was introduced by KL in the 80s. Flap bags with the "CC" turn lock are generally referred to as "classic flaps." The 1112 (classic flap) are the last numbers of the 10"/25cm bag style code. This size is generally referred to as "medium" in the states. Many Chanel buyers, if not most, don't consider the medium (10"/25cm) a daytime bag; they're seen as evening, while jumbos (12"/30cm) are seen as everyday.
When dealing with Catty, I think it's best to show and tell about sizes/styles rather than detailing. In Catty's defense, I've never had a problem with her merchandise or customer service. Most of her stuff is junk, which I feel is true for most replicas. However, if you know how to pick and choose. You could end up with a gold mine. I've never bought from J and don't find 97% of his Chanel flaps passable, but that's me. It's a hard bag to rep.
