Is there a cheap way to get Vogue Italia in USA? Amazon charges $234 for one year subscription, which is more expensive than buying the issues separately at barnes and noble, except the local ones here stopped carry it.

Any cheaper ways to get subscriptions?

I wish I had an answer. The issues are available at my local Barnes & Noble for about $16 each, which is really too expensive for me. It's a shame that international magazines run for so much money, isn't it?

I only review vogue.it online because I absolutely refuse to purchase periodicals.

There really isn't any sufficiently cheaper alternative, at least not that I've found. I purchase month-old issues at Barnes and Noble, which is kind of crappy after seeing a full review on this forum, but they're more reasonably priced.

i live in canada and the only way i can get italian vogue is by ordering it from my local bookstore. it takes almost a month to arrive and costs me $35 for each issue. i only order the ones i must have. it's such a pain but worth it.

eBay + some patience for awaiting the right issues to pop up would be the best alternative :flower:

I live in a country that is near Italy and their Vogue is still the most expensive magazine on newstands here. While Paris Vogue is the cheapest, distributors that set the prices, need a reality check! :ninja:

Actually most of the recent Vogue Italia's on eBay go for the same price or higher than you would pay at Barnes & Noble or an independent mag store. For example on eBay the seller MaxxMags has the most recent issues offered on buy it now from $24.99 to 34.99 + $5.00 shipping. Their shipping is reasonable and they also offer free shipping for orders over $5.00. You might have to wait a few years to get a good price on back issues. I just scored 7 issues from the mid-90's for around $60.00US w/shipping. I considered that a steal:flower:

156,70€ = approx $217.00 so you would save a bit going directly through
Condé Nast Italy

You could always ask your B&N if they can start carrying the title again or ask your local independent mag store if you have one. PM me if you want more assistance & I'll be happy to help:flower:

^Yes, the prices are typically higher these days...but that's why patience is definitely the more important factor! ;) $5.00-$10.00 issues from the past two years or so are still not hard to come by...yet.

^Wow:woot:and I thought I was an excellent eBayer...I've never seen a Vogue Italia for $5.00US.
Good for you Faith:flower:

^Hope you encounter a lot of those soon

(Although I imagine that you already have all the recent issues  )
