I LOVE it. It's a Costume gala honoring Alexander McQueen. A wee bit crazy is allowed (it should be specified for crying out loud)
The head gear is what finishes the look.

I agree, it was a gala honoring Mcqueen, at least she had a touch of "drama".
And the headpiece reminds me of this look from Alexander McQueen F/W 08.09.

Isabel Lucas brings a classic flair at the MET Ball held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 2) in New York City.

The 26-year-old actress brought a 1920s look as she wore a Louis Vuitton dress to the event and completed her look with a gold headpiece.

The event is hosted by honorary chairs Salma Hayek, her husband Francois-Henri Pinault, and co-chairs Colin Firth, designer Stella McCartney and Vogue editor Anna Wintour. Special performance by Florence And The Machine!

I think I would've liked the headpiece more if her hair were darker. Unfortunately, it just blends in with her yucky hair colour. Still like it, though.
