Aah, Isabela... The show was in her new store and for only 60 people and she has, thankfully, remained truthful to her essence even if minimalist is, basically, what Isabela isn't. Lots of black and white with her traditional applications in silver and gold and embroideries. The fabrics were warm, with spotlights for the leather, the velvet, the fur, the cotton and the silk. The shoes were velvet with golden heels and her Melissa (the oldest model) in velvet as well.
A lot of evase cuts, mini-jumpers, over sized man shirts, loose and marked forms. Her short dresses are still beautiful (the one with golden rings!
), her jackets (especially the black one with applications and the one with stars all over it) are amazing. What I love most about Capeto is that even when everything is really ellaborate, it still has that very light feeling.
