The fluidity of ocean waves inspired Gilles Mendel for his first resort collection for J.Mendel, which focused on draping and layering, in everything from easy silk knit tops to dramatic gowns. Mendel likes the sporty appeal of sleek suitings, the lightness of perforated fur boleros and vests and the edginess of pleated leather jackets. He did chic little day sheaths in cotton lace on silk organza and for evening, gowns in liquid tulle and silk.

The yellow dress is ambsloutley beautiful. All the layers and the cut is just a couture piece. The red dress is also pretty but something is off about the top part.
