Another romantic and beautiful collection from Mendel. The color palette almost veers on too wide-ranging, but he manages to keep the collection cohesive enough. I love the pieces he picked to open and close. The classy opening dress shows right away that he's going to be offering a lot of prints for a change, which I think he executed well! And the gown to close was exquisite, as I love how he does bright oranges/poppy/red hues, it takes me back to my favorite J. Mendel collection which was S/S 2011.

I watched this in the livestream and I think my eyes started bleeding when those orange looks came on, especially the one with the orange dress and the red fur coat Not feeling this. It lacks the elegance and class I would expects from such a collection. I don't even see that many red carpet looks here, which is usually their strength, it's all very mediocre. I only like both looks that Melissa Tammerijn is wearing: this one and this one.
