J.W. Anderson S/S 2014 London

Amazing textures and fabrics but he is really weak at construction... Most of the silhouettes look like try-outs you do on a dummy. I mean the garments just look like big pieces of fabrics you put on the body and just attached together. Except a few dress, the clothes look so bulky and don't respect any anatomy... Only Rei Kawakubo and Yamamoto can do it properly.

And he has been doing the same for so long. Ok we got it, some stiff stuff without seams on flat-chested girls wearing shoes you use for gardening.

So playful yet so serious, so clean yet so complex... I love what he does with shapes and textures. Not so his use of colour, but the monochrome pieces are divine!

I love the use of texture in his collections. This is a very compact and appealing line.

Where is the coherence? He is the most hyped designer ever (along with Altuzarra and Wang).

yes for being so memorable, but no for everything else. even take it as some kind of conceptual art, it's still an ugly one.

Present wrapping gone wrong.

I like this, but doesn't it annoy anybody that he presents one look two or three times?

refreshing as usual

a focus on ideas instead of luxury or dressing some vague woman that doesn't exist

he'll probably ruin the charm this collection has by talking about it though

his clothes look like sanitary pads. do people actually buy anything from him or does the money all come from topshop and versus?

I have the feeling I have seen these kind of looks millions of times before. It is so graduation collection!

I felt like he was almost there and just couldn't exquisite it correctly, I like a lot of it but its nothing i've never really seen before.

In term of creativity I really admire this show, but in term of reality these clothes are hard to wear ultimately.

for so many reasons I just in love with this collection.
