Jacquemus “La Croisière” 2025 : Angelina Kendall & Mohamed Hassan by Mohamed Sherif

I feel like it needs more editing

But this is the best summer campaign yet out of all summer campaigns been released so far, it has that relax and vacation feel that we need.

Easily mistook it for a Zara edit. Or even some of the okay ones that were in Porter magazine.

The clothes are beyond bland.

It feels flat. I agree that with some further editing, it would have been better ... more dynamic and beautiful.

some beautiful shots, some very amateurs. It needs a whole layout for me to really appreciate it in terms of campaigns.
But it works on IG. It’s less convincing when extracted from a context of that platform….

How lucky models are to be shoot in location like this one.

Modeling is not easy as it seems sometimes but it offers such wonderful experiences regarding locations.

I think the pair works perfectly too.
Angelina is amazing and Mohamed has a lot of charm.

The location choices are very uninspiring, and I am pretty sure Cairo has more to offer than these cliches. It will be great if they can have fun in the streets instead of the travel guide 101 scenes. Nevertheless, I applaud that they are supporting local talents.

But if you go on a cruise (the campaign and collection is « La Croisière ») and you choose Egypt. Apart from the Nil, if we don’t see the pyramids or the Pharaohs, would it be obvious that it’s in Egypt?
I think with Jacquemus and that constant feeling of holidays, being obvious is almost a requirement at this point.

That's mostly Assouan though.
I am not familiar with the photographer and yes, some look amateurish but it's the 1st campaign of the year that gives a little bit of travel envy, and it really elevates a very bad collection, so that's a win in my books.

Maybe with several pics with the pyramids and nil or even Philae temple complex, it will be enough to highlight the location and go on among its culture and people like those vintage vogue editorials. I love cruise so the overall effect is bit bland to me.
