Jaimie Alexander (b. March 12, 1984 in Greenville, South Carolina) is an actress who portrays Jessi XX on Kyle XY. She previously played Caitlin Porter on the MyNetworkTV serial Watch Over Me. Born in South Carolina, she was raised in Grapevine, Texas before relocating to Los Angeles. Alexander appeared in "The Other Side," "Squirrel Trap" and a starring role in Rest Stop, as well as FX's It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Fox's Standoff.

A tough one to pin down ... for, before she caught her break playing a svelte, lethal cyborg on ABC Family’s sci-fi show, Kyle XY, Alexander grappled as a founding member of her high-school girls’ wrestling team. “I wasn’t the hot chick,” she says. “I didn’t even get asked to prom—the only reason I went was to even out a number for the limo.” Equally at home doing rom-com and comic-con: This month Alexander appears alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway in Edward Zwick’s Love & Other Drugs, and next year she will star as the warrior goddess Lady Sif in Kenneth Branagh’s adaptation of Marvel’s Thor—a part she landed on the heels of a dreary between-jobs stint as a bartender in L.A. “I cleaned vomit off floors,” Alexander says. “I got fired on a Sunday and hired for Thor on Monday. Thor’s premise is humility—so working in that bar was actually a great lesson.”

Jaimie on incarnation: “I’d love to come back as a man. It would be interesting to see how the mid of opposite sex works.”
