I'm obsessed with Gus Van Sant; I'll see anything he does. And I'm happy he's working with real actors again (the acting in Paranoid Park was sooo bad). Still wish he'd cast someone hotter than Sean Penn, but that's just me being shallow.

I saw him in F&G's ages after it was canceled, as a young teenage girl and just melted inside! Haha! Feels like so long ago now even though it was only like six years ago.

He was 20 when he did F&G's though. So weird. Ten years ago!!!
He definitely looks different but not any better-worse imo. He just looks way more messy and rugged, if you know what I mean!

Yeah, I'm so excited about the film! I think it's gonna be amazing for James.
I'm really happy Sean's in it with him. He's a fantastic actor ( if not angry and fantastic! Lol!) and since I'm not into the slasher/gay thing ( much rather see James doing it hetro style tbh! Lol!) it doesn't bother me that Sean's not exactly... eeer... well... James looking! Lol!

It doesn't seem all that Californian to me. His slang doesn't seem Californian, but it's hot!

I want James to have a ton of success as an actor but I'm actually so happy he's not a big celebrity.
I find that whole celeb scene so ridiculous and such a turn off.
If he was in the tabs all the time my adoration and respect for him would be totally worn away I bet.
That's why I always ignore any gossip you hear... from what sources tell me, most of the Franco gossip has all been bull anyway! Which is good...

I don't think he sounds Californian. Californians either have the general American accent (like newscasters) or they have, like, a Southwestern accent ... with a twang on the "R." James sounds East Coast to me, but I can't pinpoint where. I knew a guy once whose accent was a little like James', and he was from Boston.

Don't forget James will also be in Nights in Rodanthe, which is due out in October. I've read the book and it was excellent (it's by Nicholas Sparks same author as The Notebook, Message in a Bottle, A Walk to Remember, etc). If the movie is anything like the book James will have some powerful scenes and it should be a different kind of character for him.

Just watched the trailer for The Pineapple Express. Usually, I don't really like these kind of comedies, but its look hilarious!Still love James!!

Yeah, Pineapple does look hilarious!

From reading the script, there's only one thing that James says that is actually just the most disgusting thing I've ever heard, but when I hear him say it in the cinema I'll probably just be so grossed-out I'll find it hilarious!

Judd Apatow is a genius when it comes to comedy. So glad James is getting back in with him and Seth again!
