he looked amazing at the Globes, like he always does. his eyes and smile are something to die for!

I watched 127 hours few days ago and tbh he really does deserve academy award for that role. He nailed it! Especially the ending, I was in tears. Just pure brilliance!

^ I must see 127 Hours. It appears that he's not getting much attention for it... perhaps I'm just not keeping up-to-date during awards season.

SERIOUSLY, I WAS IN TEARS TOO! THE WHOLE MOVIE IS JUST MAGNIFICENT; THE WAY IT WAS SHOT, THE IMAGERY IS BEAUTIFUL. IT FELT LIKE I WAS ACTUALLY THERE WITH HIM, MY HEART NEVER STOPPED POUNDING. HE DESERVES AN OSCAR, DANNY BOYLE DESERVES ANOTHER OSCAR FOR THIS AND THE MOVIE ITSELF NEEDS TO WIN FOR BEST PICTURE.:heart::heart::heart:

...it's just a period drama like the king's speech and colin firth's performance is making it difficult for him to get the awards he deserves as well from the big associations but don't be fooled into thinking no one has taken note of him/his performance :flower::heart: i see only bigger and greater things for james and his OSCAR will come:D

I would normally be furious for not getting the Oscar this year (I think Firth is a given at this point) but him presenting the awards kinda makes up for it! So much screen time!:D

^you should see it honey, everyone should! You just have to close your eyes for 30 seconds, that's all really :flower:

he probably will be in the same category with some great actors and said above, Colin Firth deserves it aswell and is great.
But I still think that a film like this and acting like this (being alone in front of the cam for 90% of the time) deserves academy award

But anyways, CAN'T WAIT to see him hosting the Oscars.. he will look ravishing and killing me with his perfect looks (esp his face)

James Franco Wigs Out at Sundance

Just Jared here, blogging from inside the decked out Bing Bar at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival.

We spotted James Franco donning two different wigs at the Three’s Company: The Drama after party on Friday (January 21) in Park City, Utah.

At the bash, which was held at the former Miners Hospital, the 32-year-old actor showed off two different looks in honor of the film.

The movie features a remake of the first three episodes of the popular 70s sitcom, with James starring as Jack, which the late John Ritter played.

James‘ younger brother, Dave Franco, and his producing partner, Vince Joliette, came out to support him!

Regarding him winning the awards, I've noticed that the awards circuit tends to hate young actors. I wonder why? They love to see young actresses succeeding for some reason. Maybe it's because they know actresses tend to get less prestigious roles once they pass 40 and like to award them as soon as. I just answered my own question.
