I love her and am happy and surprised to learn she is dating actor Michael Pitt, who is starring in Gus Van Sant's "Last Days". Her is a pic of them at the premiere together, hope it is ok to put here rather than celeb spottings. They are also starring in a film by Kim Gordon about cars, called "Perfect Partner Everything You Ever Wanted In A Car".

Hmm. Ok a little bit Patti Smith but also a little but Janice from Friends. Not good. But her eds are amazing. I cant see her with Michael Pitt but then he likes his odd bod French looking girls. I mean he has dated a French Actress and Asia Argento hasn't he?

I saw a Patti Smith insipired editorial awhile back with her and knew i had to track down this girl!I'm very intrigued to know more about Jamie,where she comes from and a bit of her background.She is so stunning and naturally beautiful.I heard she's been singing at some of the shows Michael's band has been doing lately.

She was in Spin; I'm almost positive; I want to say in early 2003? The article mentioned something about her being a cross between Freddie Mercury + Shelly Duvall. She made me laugh [in her interview] .

i just read a little tidbit about Jamie's music!

Jamie Bochert's music is reminiscent of patti smith, pj harvey and chan marshall-- although hard to imagine with only her guitar backing her voice, the rawness and honesty in her lyrics add that other layer that completes that style thats all her own.
