since i´ve lately discovered my inclination to post poems of actor and actresses i might just continue here .....
this poem by yeats is from the first page of eve golden´s biography.the reminiscences of jean are incredible even though it wasn´t written for her...

what an offer.i feel like alice in harlowland....i´m afraid í´could act like
"like a small pampered tyrant" now and i hope i´m not too demanding!!!i´ll suggest some pics which we haven´t had here before and you can select the ones you want to post.you needn´t post all since that would be too much work i guess.
anyway, my suggestions:
1,5,9,23,24,25,26,29,30 ....too many ??
i´ll soon receive two old jean harlow mags and i´ll scann seversl pics as kind of a repair

the caption of this pic is so wrong that i first fell from my chair and than had to laugh because it´s so pathetic and couldn´t be farer away fom the truth.so jean took danicing lessons to prepare
herself for stardom??nothing like that ever happended.jean didn´t plan her carrer like joan crawford or norma shearer did.but the best is still to come:"it´s a miracle that he (the dancing teacher) didn´t become her first
husband"....she was already married to charles mcgrew when her acting carreer started....what weere they thinking of-bigamy ?!!

oh thanks so much ,pinkballoons!!my platinum heart is caressing me right now.i have never seen any of these before.my eyes are always keen on such discoveries so just keep them coming !!!!that was really a nice "betthupferl"....i have absolutely no idea what that means in english .it´s german dialect-bavarian...a nice good night drink perhaps !!!

thanks so much pinkballoons.i love the high quality of the pics and that they´re so huge.my lousy scannner ruins them most of the time.fortunaely jean normally outshines everything,even the worst quality....all i can offer you right now is an invitation for breakfast with jean ...lousy quality again i can only hope the coffee tastes better
