It's so glamourous. Only Gaultier knows how to make couture sexy without being vulgar... I don't even think Tom Ford can manage that balance as deftly as Gaultier does! Bodysuits are sooo in right now, but I sincerly hope people (read: celebrities) don't start just shedding their pants.
Most of his 'couture' is still useless costumes. Great: he can dress drag-queens. Even Galliano has moved on.
The styling felt pretty stale to me, but the clothes were GORGEOUS. Overall, though, the collection felt rather disjointed. The individual looks were mind-blowing, though.
I loove Natasha Poly's look! I'm a bit disappointed that the collection itself was very scattered, I wish there was more cohesion, something to tie all of the looks to one another.
this collection is such a let down. the only outfit i really like is the metal body suit on magdelena. it's a shame because last season was so perfect, and beautiful. this collection is just a bit all over the place. and i don't really like the use of film strips in the clothing.
I just spotted this great article my Ms Alexander... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/fashion/...6/Paris-Haute-Couture-Jean-Paul-Gaultier.html
the lady gaga comparison rubs me the wrong way. she doesnt wear pants. there are plenty of legs covered in this collection.
