Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture S/S 2025 Paris

She really wants to be that girl but she is nothing of the sort. Somebody lied to her several times and told her she was fly, hot and sexy and beautiful and she is nothing like that.
the clothes that she gave us were not something that I would particularly buy for myself. they were old mcqueen type of clothes.

Its okay. It feels like he's trying to reach the schiaparelli clients.

The last dress is what Disgrazia tried to do at Dior but failed miserably.

I think LDSS is my guilty pleasure lol.
I loved it.
I didn’t expect anything and yet I was impressed. This is a better Gaultier than what Simone Rocha did.

Cyber trash Couture…

I love that even though he did the Gaultier tropes, he explored some others side of Gaultier. I saw some Madame Gres inspired dresses and even some things from Gaultier’s first Hermes collection.

I think this collection is going to be a hit for entertainers. I don’t know if Couture clients will jump over this but why not. There are some demure options.

I was rather annoyed by the « Yaaaas girl » nature of the presentation. I don’t think that attitude worked for Gaultier even though models were always theatrical on his runway. I don’t think a lot of models had a lot of allure to do that.

LDSS taking the bow was hilarious. He was feeling himself and tbh, I was feeling it too. I laughed. It’s a pity he didn’t striked a pose.

I enjoyed it a lot more than Valentino. Valentino was a torture actually.

Him and that one plastic himbo who sleeps with Rick Owens are morphing into the same person...

It wasn't as awful as I anticipated but nothing felt really fresh or with a point of view. Kinda enjoyed the music.

The title made me laugh though... "Le Naufrage"... Literally "The Shipwreck"...

Hmm.. maybe he tried pulling the common thread between the JPG Pirate and Mermaid collections into this one.
This is not so bad.
I like it, especially after seeing something that traumatized me from Valentino.
Actually, this is the kind of show that I've been missing for a long time from haute couture, a show that has a theme, especially from Gaultier Paris.
But some looks need to be sunk deep into the ocean, starting with this anchor look.
