I wasn't very excited by this collection as I'm rarely impressed by Gaultier's work in general but these two images are certainly in my top favorite ads of the season so far.. I just love how rich and saturated it all is, and the detailing that will probably look better when I can actually see it in my hands. gorgeous stuff. I haven't been remotely captivated by Sorrenti, nor Gaultier or Catherine in so long. if not ever.

A great collection and Sorrenti's colors are fantastic. Catherine just doesn't seem to pull off the clothes though. She seems a bit forced.

Kind of reminds me of f/w 02 with Mariacarla by Mondino I believe.

It's not bad, but it doesn't captivate me as much as I'd like.

Well McNeil definately ruined the collection for me.
She looks awful in both the pictures.

Well said MP. I absolutely was not a fan of this collection, and for as much as I have enjoyed Gaultier's work in the past, the last few seasons have been all over the place. That goes for the ads as well.

However, despite McNeil's face looking vaccuous and puffy, I love the color and texture that these ads are giving. Everything else this season has been so pretty and flat for me. At least Sorrenti went in a direction that complimented the best features of the garments: their texture and layering. I actually like them (again, aside from Catherine).

ditto. i LOVE it, the collection was amazing and i was afraid i wouldn't like the ads but they're great! Catherine is not the best model in the world but she's so beautiful. i wouldn't be so happy if it was Mariacarla for example - she poses very well but i can't stand her face...
