i'm glad you enjoy, gincat.
by the way, about crediting the pictures, i am sorry to say but i had all those saved on my notebook and i can't recall the sources.
if anyone visiting our site feels one of the pictures belongs to him, i can give credit or remove...

nice thread, anna!. i've been thinking of you cause over the last few days i've seen way too many old films with stunning yet unknown (for me) actresses. while looking at her imbd card, looks like i have seen more than one film with her and as always, i cant recall her presence. :ninja:

oh-well, great shots as always, really looking forward to see her in that movie with john malkovich, due to next year i'm guessing.

thanks anna for this thread ;P

Great thread!:heart:Thanks for starting this thread and thanks to all who have posted pics.

Oh great! I  Jeanne Moreau. I'm a big fan of French cinema and she's one of my favorite actresses. She's so striking.... One of my favorite of her film is "The Bride Wore Black" I love that all of her costumes in the film are either black or white and that's how she sees the world:

I also like that she continues to do films now:

I Love You, I Love You Not

She was also great in "La Femme Nikita" and of course "Jules et Jim"-she's so elegant.

another great topic, anna.thanks :flower:!!jeanne moreau is a wonderful actress.you´ll hardly find another actress who has made so many great films over such a long period of time.THE film of all films is "jules et jim" imo ,although i have to admit that my heart totally belongs to oscar werner and his character in this movie.i can´t help it !!!
i also loved "les amants" and "le journal d´une femme de chambre".and i also remember enjoying her in a film directed by antonioni but i can´t recall its title  .

the sueddeutsche zeitung featured an interview with her last week and it made me cry ...
and i rarely like interviews.

also, i can't wait to see the new ozon film:heart:

thanks for informing us about the interview.i´ve just read it and to be honest i´m overwhelmed.what an uncompromising wisdom this woman possesses...i´m speechless right now .

^hello:heart:

yes, isn't it so moving ... i love how she never gives in to the tone of the interviewer (sorry if that isn't a term) .. he could make the whole thing ridiculous but she's just too wise to let that happen ... and so full of life:heart:

will you watch the movie? i'm a little afraid of it even because the trailer was so heartbreaking but i'm really a fan of ozon's more quiet works!
