Are jelly shoes making a resurgence? They are cool-looking, but really hurt your feet.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring 2006 jellies

those marc jacobs are lovely

I think that a lot of these shoes can look very plastic and cheap so it's about finding a nice pair

^ yeah... the only cheap one i can find are from urban outfitters are they're ugly :(

 they are a nightmare to wear, totally non healthy, sweaty and stinky too.. i think they were originally designed as non-hurting-foot-while-walking-in-the-sea shoes for kids.. remember having them as a kid

are those really 'hot' for spring? i mean really?? or are they just available?

i tried those on, and they are sized so weird. i'm definitely a 40, and their 9 is too small, their 10 is too big. and they do not make half sizes in this shoe.

I say they're just available.

I have always loved these jellys, i have a couple pairs from this brand, and they are not uncomfortable at all... They are extremely unique as well... but you either hate them or love them.

I think this was a trend like 2 summers ago?

But trend or not, I don't like it at all.

Noooo! I hope this trend walks it's way back into the 90's. God how I used to yearn for a pair of glittery high heeled jelly shoes :ninja: thank god my mam wouldn't allow it. Not healthy for your feet either. When I look at them I still get that feeling of the wet sand stuck on the inside sole of the sandal rubbing against my feet when I was little and at the beach

They get SO stinky SO fast and I think it always looks really victim-y when people where them. Every few years or so someone brings them out again. They're horrible.

I am not a fan of these...
I remember seeing a old pair my aunt had and wondering how in the world anyone could wear these...

i remember wearing jellies when i was little... distinctly. because they cut my heels up like razors :o

never again! no matter how cute!

^ Thanks. I'm thinking about getting them but well, they are plastic.

Eww. I think these "jellies" (I never knew the name for them) are horrible looking and very tacky. They look like the shoes I put on my baby dolls when i was younger. *grimaces*

I bought a pair on sale at H&M last summer. they look so cute, but hurt like hell
