Hi, I was wondering if anyone has a Jelly Kelly bag.. and I was wondering where they bought it and how they like it. I'm looking into purchasing a Fuschia one. Any suggestions? Also...if you do have one.. does it seem fairly sturdy? And how much can it hold? Thanks!

I think they're a fun alternative to the real mccoy. Are they edible? I havn't seen one yet, heard so much about them, are they see-through?

They aren't edible ^_^ but they sure sound like it! I have seen some online that are translucent.. but not see through. I don't know if I'd want anyone to see what's in my bag! :D

I've seen women all over Milan with these bags. They appear to be sturdier than I would've imagined just by looking at them. They come in several sizes, the biggest I've seen is quite roomy.

:( I'd rather pay for a knock off than end up broke, purchasing a bag that is in the thousands. I'd rather use the money for other things. But, I am interested in the bag, I'm sure many other women are. I'd rather spend thousands on a down payment for a house or a new car, not a bag. Plus, I didn't ask for a negative opinion on a knock off bag. I merely asked for an opinion on if anyone had it, how they liked it, etc! Now my taste has totally been insulted. How rude! I'd never comment on another person's purchase. If they like it, fine. They should go ahead and purchase it.

Then that is exactly what you should do. No one is saying you shouldn't buy it. I was just letting you know the legal problems they are having with it. It's not my style, but like I always say, to each their own.

^^Astrid--LOL. I think you and I are fashion opposites :p I think the Jelly Kelly is cute  & I want one, but I think it would be a waste of money b/c it is so trendy. Is anyone going to remember them next year?

Plus, I also hate knockoffs--so that part would bother me.

 I'm a minimalist. I know people find that boring, but I like it. B) I find beauty in purity and stark, austere designs.

i think those bags are simple and would appeal to a minimalist sense of style like my own....??? there is nothing too them, especially the one in my fav color, black. i think they are cute, i am just not sure if they are right for fall... seem like a go to the beach sort of bag but hell I am going to get one....so in other words I think they are cute, and I think it is a crime and irresponsible to pay that for a real kelly or the birkin is the one that I think is wrong.... sure it is your money but there is a point when I think, come on can you really justify that? so I think they are GREAT! i mean really hermes .... should people who copy the latest denim jean trend for target get sued as well? i think it is so so funny to see them get in a tizzy! to me it is not like a typical knock off or fake which i hate and would never carry this is different to me it is RUBBER!

I totally agree with both of you, lele and leyla! I just wanted something cute for my music books! They look to be sturdy as well. Who knows, if I really like it, I may even purchase one as a gift for my friend (who just had a baby)! Plus, it's rubber, waterproof.. wouldn't they look like really stylin' diaper bags As opposed to the Kate Spade ones? Anyhow.. yeah I do want a hot pink one.. where did you get yours, leyla? You can email me if you don't want to list it on here... Thanks!

Well, the thing about buying a real Birkin is that you shouldn't have to justify it. It's a Birkin. You shouldn't purchase it if you don't have the money for it. That's the only way I can see not justifying it. People need to learn to stay within their means. -_-

It's so hard trying to find stylish and HUGE bags to accomodate my books and my beloved personal junk (see "What's in your purse" board). Plus they also make great, colorful beach bags.

Jelly Kelly is a good alternative. It's not leather, it's rubber. Futhermore, it's not like they are selling the bags out in the black market, or out of someone's trunk on a sidewalk somewhere. The businesses who sell the Jelly Kellys are legitimate and well-known, especially Intuition who cater to celebrity clientele.

I think Hermes may be going a little too agro  on this. :(

Minimalism is not boring. I like simple quite often. I like to mix it with non-minimalistic things!

i really agree with eevryone here. :flower:
i think the REAL BIRKIN has nothing to do with this jelly kelly. in my eyes its not even worth comparing.
ever since the BIRKIN became popular every single leather/ luggage/ bags shop or brand has done one under their own label or had them done produced. so they are everywhere. to me, a real BIRKIn is for personal satisfaction since i dont really care what others think and noone would know if its real unless they come up close or they know their stuff.
therefore when i saw this jelly version of it (AZIANDOLL, i bought it in ITALY.. its huge there right now) i thought : HOW cute! somehow it doesnt even remind me of the birkin. i just got it cause i liked it and it was cheap. its not by INTUITION... so i got it probably for real cheap :innocent: .
having said all that...... i'd recommend any bag addict to save up for a real birkin ;)

i just bought a periwinkle one from a recommended source. aziandoll, contact me if you want more info! i researched the bag a lot before i bought it. i thought about it and considered the pros and cons. although a little over a hundred is considered chump change to bag afficionados, i didn't want to waste it on something not worthy when i could have been saving it for my future birkin  ! i'll let you know if it's worth it when i receive it =D

I think they are cute and fun bags and while I understand Hermes' disgust over the knock offs...the bottom line is they arent loosing any money and if anything this is free advertising for them. Because Im sorry...I cant afford a freakin 9000 purse so why are you pissed cause Im buying one that costs 250? I mean come one...for 250.00 I cant even buy a Hermes chewing gum holder!

They need to just lay off and be thankful that someone admires them that much.
Like I heard someone say once "If they arent bootleggin your s**t, that means its not hott!".
