After receiving her prize, Hudson put the squeeze on fellow American Idol alum Diana DeGarmo and reflected on her meteoric rise to the top. "I just can't believe I got the Sammy Davis Jr. award," Hudson told reporters. "I'm standing on the same stage where I made the top 32 of American Idol!"

Let me just start by saying, she's amaaaazing!
I love that she is talented and beautiful and I love her body... She looks great, I think almost always... Yes, I was one of the few who actually loved what she wore to the Oscars
And I can't stop listening her songs from the Dreamgirls. She totally deserved that Oscar. Brilliant performance.
