So true!! Then again, look who she was up against, so it's not really a surprise for me. Natalie Portman, who hasn't worked in ages. Margot, who's still very new, and Reese. HW isn't very confident about Reese, she always needs to work doubly hard to just secure a serious part.
I feel like Jennifer is getting these plum parts too easily and too soon in her career. Much like her awards. Her backers must mean big business in HW.

Well the bright spot in this is if she flops she will have to then work harder for those coveted parts. And if she succeeds, then she will have earned it. I think she needed a challenge like this, as working with David O. Russell isn't proving anything any more.

It's my understanding that the memoir covers the photographer's life in her late 20s. Jennifer will be turning 25 this year and will probably film it next year or the year after as Spielberg is filming the BFG this year. She's actually the correct age for once. Also, it was probably going to be her either way. Weinstein had her as the lead, so did Clooney and obviously so did Warner Bros/Spielberg.

Oh I like the premiere look! The dress actually suits her age. The hair reminds a bit too much of the Oscars in 2014, but the makeup is much better this time.

The after party dress isn't the most flattering for her killer figure.

Agh, her style is so bad. Her candid style is an absolute mess, and then her "photo-ready/red carpet" style never quite suits her. She looks nice at the Serena premiere, but the dress is awkward and unflattering IMO. I think since she seems to be not particularly interested in fashion, she is most comfortable in simple, streamlined looks. She always looks much better in Calvin Klein, for example.
