Jennifer Lawrence

I am thinking we need to give the fashion police the power to arrest people soon:sick:

Wow, it looks so pretty on the runway. It's kinda just hanging on Jennifer. :(

Berlin after-party:

The dress looked soooo much better on the runway. You'd think they could be bothered to alter the dress to fit her at least!

Yeah not a good look for her. She's a beautiful woman but she's usually more miss in the style department.

It's giving me flashbacks to how Rosamund Pike's GG dress just hung there.
Seriously, did they give the tailor the wrong measurements for this promo tour?

On a positive note, I like the Berlin after party look.

As the general consensus seems to be that Jen's style needs a re-work, what direction do you want her to go in? Minimal/CK aesthetic, sexy or more fun to match her personality? I'm tempted to say minimal as she clearly doesn't love the whole glamour look, but I feel simple doesn't really suit her personality.

Is Rachel Zoe still styling her?

Edit: Nevermind, just saw that she's with Jill Lincoln & Jordan Johnson. They also are not doing a good job, and they usually ace it every time with Kiernan Shipka and even with Sofía Vergara.

Another disaster:doh:
Poor girl, she has no sense of style and does not have a proper stylist

Jennifer is lovely and sexy, but I feel when her style plays up the sexy it actually works against her. I'd like to see her wear more tailored, more covered pieces made with really good fabrics. She can really smolder with her sexiness if she downplays it a bit.

The dress is gorgeous on the runway, but really bad on her. I don't think it's just the fit though, the whole look is off, the make up and hair is too sexy on Jennifer to work with the dress, especially with Jennifer's breast and the side chains..

I definitely believe she needs better styling and a completely new direction. The Dior pairing doesn't work for me. I'd love to see her in some darker, romantic Alexander McQueen or even over-the-top embellished Gucci.

I don't like the dress but it is by far the best she has worn in a long time.

I feel like if she dressed in simple Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren type stuff she'd look a lot better. She's not a fashion girl and it's painfully obvious, I don't get why they keep trying to make her one

Agreed. The gowns that are picked for her all look great, they just don't look great on her because she doesn't care. And it's fine not to care -- there are actresses whose fashion has become iconic because they made their anti-fashionista style part of their signature. (Diane Keaton comes to mind: she's never cared about fashion, but we all enjoy her style, because it's uniquely her.)

To be fair to Jen though, I think a lot of actresses are pressured to look like fashionistas -- I also think lots of them are business savvy enough to know it's a place to make money. I just wish they would work with stylists more to create -- styles that reflect their own personalities rather than what's on trend.

Yep. She has no style and doesn't wear clothes well. So, why not just put her in bold colors and simple silhouettes that flatter her athletic figure? She'd look great and would probably be a hell of a lot more comfortable. Not everyone is meant to be stylish.

^^ and she has her Dior contract so that's added preassure imo... I wonder what would happen now with that, perhaps new designs will flatter her more.

Jennifer Lawrence wears her hair sleek and chic for a private dinner at Hotel de Rome with the U.S. Ambassador to Germany celebrating the release of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 in Berlin earlier in the week.
