I think he is really un-photogenic but very sexy in motion.

But he is so short! Imdb says 178cm, but I think that is a professional exaggeration. He has to be close to 173cm, as when he and tom cruise had to stand next to each other for MI promotion, renner was only marginally taller than him.

He wears a lot of makeup at events, it's quite off-putting.

I agree with rox_yr_sox he's better in motion.

Seems that not many liked him (well, mixed bag at least) in The Bourne Legacy, but I did. I found him quite believable, attractive, and liked his and Weisz's chemistry.

I agree HeatherAnne! While I found the overall film lackluster, he, Weisz and Isaac elevated and gave very good performances. I actually think he gave a better performance than Damon though Damon has the benefit of a much better (and fresher) story.
