Lots of my friends love Jessica Ogden, but I don't usually see the appeal...this collection is too cute and too Little Red Ridinghood-ish for my liking. There are a couple of nice bits but on the whole, I'd pass.

it continues in the same vein...but these are I like best. Still not loving any of it though.

Some pieces are ok, but in general it's a bit childish. I'd like to see more.

I like it alot, very cute, I'm a fan of the 'little red riding hood' look.

a few looks are a little to retro cutsey, marc jacobs-y (I'm shr he knocks her off)
thanks

the quilt look is a bit too much for me... I like the colors and pants, thats about it.

that jacket is interesting, i like it. other than that i'm not a fan.

I think the pieces specifically are really lovely...as usual! The styling,I think, kind of puts one off as it almost always comes out a bit dowdy. But her pieces alone are actually quite stunning.

btw,I enjoy her childish exuberance. During weeks when uptight elitists are parading around snobbishly,it's like a breath of fresh air.

this is one of the designers i was thinking of when i was talking about overcharging by young designers...in person the quality of the clothes does not warrant the pricetag...neither does the design or fabric..imho...

i see plenty of young girls around town who put together much better looks in the same vein by hitting the local thrift store and h&m...and of course...paying a fraction of these prices...i'm sure that's where most of these ideas come from...

and i don't even think this is done particularly well...it's all a bit 'sloppy' to me...i love mixing and matching fabrics and colours in a creative and unexpected way...and always admire it when it's done well....but i just don't think this is...
it's lacking a certain refinement that i expect from designer collections...

i don't think the styling is really helping matters either...

i like the kaftan-shaped vneck dresses and some of the pinafore ones but in general, its not her best collection.. colours seem a bit off too.. the patchwork pieces are doing nothing to me BUT i can absolutely predict the strong trend directional power of this collection..

Designers like J.Ogden are really driving the trends for topshop & H&M, expect more childish looks hitting the highstreet for next winter
