What bugs me about her sometimes is- short, busty girls who are marketed as sex bombs have very little leeway when it comes to not being at their best, as when she did Dukes...and it is annoying how she seems to think no one should notice when she is not keeping up with things...Raquel Welch was on a talk show and they were asking her about her amazing looks- and she said 'But that's my job', which I thought was very honest- you need to keep up when you're a celeb who sells their looks and not get offended by criticism when you don't...End of rant...

I agree, I am in the music business and I have to market myself too. Amanda seyfried put it great when she said "I need to work out and eat right because it's my job. I need to be skinny, it sucks but it's the reality." And unfortunately it is, I am basically on a raw food/vegetarian diet and although I love it because I love veggies and fruit
it might suck for other people. I also work out at least an hour to an hor and half everyday, no rest. Just like Madonna, us shorty's, when we gain weight a pound looks like 5! So it's important for us to to work harder. But I'm glad she's trying to love herself this way instead of hating it and harming herself which I certainly did to my poor body at one time. But I'm in total agreement with everything you've said so far!
^ Yup- Show Business stage/runway standards have very little to do with everyday 'normal' life...Jessica has been blessed with great beauty and when she is on her game she is as gorgeous as can be...I'm not sure what her career may be (if any) at this point, but if she's healthy and happy with herself that is wonderful, too!
