^ yes it's her. I expected something fresher, this is too much David Sims (McQueen last season and this seasons Ferragamo in terms of posing) and too little Jil
The pastel colours create a soft and tranquil atmosphere. And of course Juliane is so right for Jil Sander's clean-cut aesthetic - sedate and perfectly androgynous.
Does anybody know who did the set design? Looks like David White's work.
It´s "selling clothes" rather than anything conceptual. Very 90s JS. Love the way Juliane's hair is angled to look like droopy beagle-ears at the sides.
Not as good as Raf's campaigns, but still awesome!
The collection was this season's best and proves that Jil is one of fashion's leading ladies. If only they chose a better model. I think Daria Strokous, Juliana Schurig or Suvi Koponen could have killed it.
I love this campaign, and I'm ashamed to admit it.. I've been trying to figure out whether I liked or hated the collection. I love the sterility of this ad. I can trust Jil to produce amazing ads. And the set is just phenomenal. I love it.
i really like this campaign
reminds me of old jil simple and focused on the clothes not an explosive campaign but well shot and composed
i will miss rafs campaigns but this isnt a bad direction at all
This is perfection! I think the intriguing background stops it from becoming too clinical. But I do not like the way the male model looks in this. He's lifeless.
