So that's what all the contortion was about on the US Harper's Bazaar cover - to show off the shoes that she's contractually obliged to promote.

No wonder it looked like a shot from a foot fetishist's collection.

She is definitely not the easiest subject to photograph but with right person behind the camera she can look great. Meisel did fantastic ed with her for US Vogue. I also really liked when McDean shot her for Interview. I also think of Sorrenti W cover as a more "recent" example.
