I dont mind the colours and the ad is selling the accessories but it does look generic, she's back to looking uninterested in pic after a couple of wins. She does look rich in the ad tho which is a good thing I guess.
This all feels a lot like Hugo Comte doing his best 90s schtick.
Carlijn was interviewed for a Dutch newspaper about her work around the release of Beyoncé’s Renaissance. In that interview she said she had no problem rejecting projects that weren’t creatively stimulating enough. For example she apparently declined offers to work with Ariana Grande, Mariah Carey and Jane Fonda.
So I wonder what exactly about this project was so creatively stimulating. I guess the big pay check?
I think we could blame it to Capri, ever since they accquired Jimmy Choo, this brand just goes downhill. Lot's of classic styles are discoutinued, ads are less alluring than before. Sales may be good but the whole operation just sucks!
Such a waste of Katie Burnett and Carlijn for a mediocre model like Kendall (she improved lol), she literally gave 0% in this campaign. Even her bestie Hailey is more believable in her JC campaign than her.
This type of campaign needs models like Angela Lindvall to elevate it.
It looks like she regressed significantly. This does not look like a model with years of experience. I find it shocking because she just did some of her best work with that Prada campaign. One trick pony I suppose.
