AMAZING!!!!
im so happy for her
i gasped when I saw her because I dont ever remember
seeing a black girl walk Jil Sander but im only 18 so it probably has happened

Joan made history along with Rose!!! 1st black model to walk in Jil Sander in years!!! Congrats! :flower:

Joan is smashing FW10..incredible. She makes it all look so chic and easy. SUBSCRIBE!

I don't think she's ever done a spread for a fashion publication, yet. I could be wrong, though. She did do a Ports campaign 2 years ago. I recall her doing mainly catalogue work. Elite didn't seem to push her, the switch to IMG did wonders for her.

And Jil Sander!! :woot:...i'm not disappointed she didn't walk Versace now.

Oh wow that's major...very excited for her.

I love her looks @ Ferretti and Blumarine, two very contrasting looks but they just go to emphasise her versatility!

Rose Cordero also walked the show.

She is absolutely everywhere . I'm not complaining .
Her look is great and her walk reminds me of Lara Stone's a little which is cool too . ^_^
I will subscribe .

Love how the industry is taking so much notice in Joan. They're booking her based on her exquisite look and not the fact that she's the ethnic girl.

It's nice to see Latina girls like Puerto Rican, Joan and Dominican, Rose making waves.

Wow, Jil Sander! :woot:

You know, is it too far fetched to say that VSFS 10 should book her now?

ditto! congrats to her for breaking records and taking names! B) yet again proving she will be in this industry for a while. I just hope she can snag some editorials from all of her runway attention

I can't wait to see her (and Rose) in the upcoming Paris shows, if they've been booked. I think the more sophisticated color palette of Dries Van Noten and Lanvin would be a most beautiful match.

she is at every relevant show! wow. two looks at prada! this is her season and what a break out season at that! i like her look alot but i just can't believe that one couture show booking could get you this must interest
