What would be the best way to start with John Lee Hooker's music?.
I've been listening to some of his songs lately, most of them found randomly on youtube and I feel like I'm finally on a moment where I could enjoy his music fully.. problem is, his legacy is IMMENSE and I'm admittedly scared of downloading something that would be too challenging as an introduction and could potentially kill my interest, that probably sounds silly but I do need very accessible and almost sugary songs for starters when it comes to certain musicians, especially those with such extense careers.. I'm close on getting The Definitive Collection, I suppose getting all the 'hits' would be easy.. but I'd feel too guilty for not getting something real, something with a story or at least a sequence. any help?.
pic. for a proper, visual start.
