Jonathan Anderson - Designer, Creative Director of JW Anderson & Christian Dior

As part of his own label's move away from seasonal fashion, Jonathan's got a feature (plus an ad for his new store) in the December 2025 issue of World of Interiors about some of the items that'll be for sale in JW Anderson stores, described as "an array of remarkable antique bibelots".

Last chance to get your Maria Grazia's embroidered Dior Cruise 2025 gown!
I don't think we are even going to see these kind of designs from JWA.
The gown is very Valentino by PPP + MGC circa 2013 though.

Both Rosamunde and JLaw are MGC girls, they look clowns in JWA. Same for Mikey Madison, she's not size 0 and she's very short, the total opposite of a JWA skinny avant garde queen.
The only girls looking decent in JWA and matching his vibes / aesthetic are Anya and Greta.

I mean customers know that Diors heritage is paper thin. Ive had countless people ask whats with all the flowers and Im like they didnt have much to work with… all they knew is he liked male sex workers and flowers. And we cant use male sex workers.

I would not for the life of me allow my client to leave the house, if they insisted.

I know he's only a few collections in, but I just don't understand the aesthetic he's going for with this type of look and what kind of customer he's targeting. It seems like such a random mish-mash of styles and proportions thrown together, and not in a masterful / joyfully eccentric Galliano-esque way.

It's like he's tried to tone down his Loewe avant garde-ness by 50% - but the Dior elements are also at 50% strength, so neither one is winning out and the intention seems unclear.
