For me the fact that it could be preppy is not so much the issue. Hedi’s last collection for Celine was, Michael Rider at Celine is also mostly that.
But it does feel fashion in those versions. Here the pieces aren’t exceptional on their own and surely not together.

I’m sorry but the look does really give « Congrès des Républicains à La Baule » (French political party). Nothing against them but as a fashionable look, it’s really not exciting…

Why did he make an ugly version of Karl's Chanel? It is probably one of the most unfaltering silhouette that I have ever seen at Dior and if he insists on keeping the top, at least put some efforts to narrow the skirt like mermaid.
