Jonty's BIO according to his website:
Born in Charlton, South London, Jonty's first camera was given to him at a young age by his grandfather. As soon as Jonty finished school, he started assisting fashion photographers.
After moving to New York to freelance at the age of 21, he took a full time assistant position alongside Pamela Hanson in Paris. After 6 years he went out on his own, moving back to New York, where he stayed for 12 years. An Englishman living in New York, Jonty established himself as a high roller early on in his career. Shooting editorial images for the likes of W Magazine, German Vogue and Interview, and also shooting campaigns for Victoria’s Secret, Escada, Oscar De La Renta and Sonia Rykiel, Jonty positioned himself at an international level.
