JORDAN yesterday revealed the full extent of her son Harvey's rare illness and said she fears he is also autistic.
The 26-year-old model spoke out because she said she's been hurt by speculation that her lifestyle during her pregnancy caused his problems.
Harvey, who will be three next month, is almost completely blind and can't talk or communicate - and may never be able to do so.
He frequently attacks her, constantly goes to the toilet and is the weight of a boy of eight, despite hardly eating.
He has to take four kinds of medication for the rest of his life and needs tests to find out if he is autistic.
Speaking in OK! magazine, Jordan said: 'Harvey has been diagnosed with septo-optic dysplasia, multiple pituitary hormone deficiency, diabetes insipidus, hypothyroidism and cortisol deficiency.
'He also has a problem with his corpus callosum, which connects the right and left side of the brainJordan had Harvey after her relationship with former Manchester United star Dwight York. She is now engaged to pop singer Peter Andre.
Jordan said of Harvey: 'He's impossible to handle sometimes. I love him to bits and he's my life, but he can be a nightmare. He goes off on one, head-butting things. He hits people. He's even started hitting me.
'He's very big - nearly five stone - so it's hard to calm him down sometimes. We can't go out to restaurants because we can't be sure how he'll behave.' Jordan, real name Katie Price, said no one is sure of his long-term prognosis.
She said: 'He might have delayed puberty. I've been told he won't be able to have children. It makes me very sad.'
Jordan said she's taking him to Great Ormond Street hospital in London for more tests to determine if he is autistic.
She said: 'Sometimes it's like he's in his own world and you can't get through to him no matter what you doShe said no one knows what caused his illness, adding: 'It's a one-in--a- million chance. It's not genetic.
'It's no one's fault. The doctors have reassured me loads of times that it's nothing to do with anything I did.'
Jordan, who is pregnant with her second child, said there was no reason why her baby will have the condition.
She added: 'It takes so much to look after Harvey and I give him lots of love and affection but I don't get much back in return. There's no reward.
'Every mum wants to feel love back from their child but he's never said, 'I love you' or 'Mummy
