Australian fashion brand Misha Collection has tapped British model Jourdan Dunn to open and close its debut international runway show this Friday in New York.

The Melbourne-based brand will unveil its premium Gold by Misha spring/summer 2017 collection at 10 am on Sept. 9 at The Gallery in Skylight Clarkson Square.

Misha Collection has garnered quite the celebrity following since its launch, three years ago, by former assistant retail buyer Michelle Aznavorian.

The brand’s signature corsets and structured bodysuits, high-waisted pantsuits and bodycon dresses with cutout details have been worn by names such as Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Shay Mitchell, Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande and Eva Longoria.

Misha Collection currently sells through 50 outlets in Australia, the US, the Middle East and Asia, including Myer, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Shopbop, Revolve and the Kardashian sisters’ Dash boutiques.

In May, Aznavorian generated buzz for her solo runway debut at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia in Sydney by flying down another high profile model, Bella Hadid, to open and close that show.

“Jourdan Dunn is one of this generation’s Supermodels” said Aznavorian. “Similarly to Linda Evangelista and Naomi Campbell, Jourdan has the elegance, sophistication and edge, not to mention the talent, of the 90’s ‘Original Supermodels’. The SS17 range is heavily inspired by the opulence of that era and I had to have Jourdan unveil the collection at NYFW.”

As reported Monday, Misha Collection is one of approximately 40 Australian fashion and accessories brands that will be presenting their spring 2017 collections either on the runway or in showrooms in New York and Paris over the coming weeks.

That's at least one show we know she'll definitely be at. Fingers crossed that she does a few major HF shows.

Totally agree. Jourdan 9 times out of 10 usually nails it on the red carpet but this Proenza Schouler dress is straight DRECK. As for the hair, tbh I've BEEN over the color and the cut

Yeah i hated the Proenza dress too, not very like her style. But at least she takes risks!

She's been killing it with work these past couple days, hard to keep up! That Misha Collection show should have paid $$$. Bella was rumoured to have gotten $400k when she did it; and while i doubt that was true, it will be a good pay-day.
